Rosina Sedibane wins the Coke Challenge

Rosina Sedibane Modiba Sports School was crowned the COPA Coca-Cola National Champions following a 3-0 demolishing over Kakamas High School.

Rosina Sedibane Modiba Sports School was crowned the COPA Coca-Cola National Champions following a 3-0 demolishing over Kakamas High School.

Goals scored by Lucky Mbatha, Nelson Maluleka and Kamobel Mahlatsi saw the school winning the challenge for the for the first time.

The school’s players showed a great deal of performance in the final and were all over their opponents.

Their football has been below par but that performance was an encouragement that future stars from the province can play in the professional football set up.

Modiba finished the tournament undefeated in six matches and only conceded just one goal.

Tikhontele Secondary School finished third, followed by Charles Morgan Senior Secondary School in fourth place.

Benny’s Care Sports Academy finished in fifth place, then Tshedimotsetso Secondary School , Harmony High School in seventh, Qhilika Secondary School in eighth and lastly Luckhoff Secondary School at the bottom.

The top three schools walked away with prizes that will help develop their sporting facilities at their respective regions.
