The founder of the Sisterhood Foundation, Alicia McPherson, said the foundation urgently seeks donations of suits, jackets, pants, shoes, and shirts for boys.

For the ladies, they seek shoes, bags, accessories like jewellery and hats, and services such as hair stylists, barbers, nail technicians, makeup artists and fancy car owners for transportation.

Through their fifth matric dance drive, the foundation hopes to assist 100 young ladies and men with their matric dance.

“Attending the matric dance is a significant milestone in a learner’s life, marking the culmination of years of hard work and dedication.

“By supporting these disadvantaged matriculants, we boost their confidence and self-esteem, encouraging them to celebrate their achievements and fostering a sense of community and social responsibility,” said McPherson.
