The book reflects on her personal experience, hardships, and awakening faith in God.

“Driven by my past mistakes, I wrote this book to warn others of the dangers of poor choices.

“My story of survival and faith in God serves as a cautionary tale and a beacon of hope, inspiring readers to make wiser decisions and seek divine guidance,” Ally said.

A journey of pain and resilience

Sharing her dreadful experience with Soweto Urban, Ally revealed her journey began at 15 when a family acquaintance raped her in 2010 while in Grade Nine.

The traumatic incident, kept hidden, marked the beginning of a long and difficult path.

“For years, I struggled to come to terms with my painful past. I had never openly shared my experiences, and instead, I rebelled and sank into darkness, attempting to take my own life seven times.”
