“We are grateful for the support from local businesses,” Robertson said.

“Our goal extends beyond Eldorado Park; we hope to expand the project to Kliptown and Klipspruit West.”

Land acquisition and call centre details

Robertson announced that he would officially sign documents to obtain the land on Wednesday.

The call centre aims to create employment opportunities for the youth and provide training programs.

“The call centre will not only generate jobs but also support families through hamper donations. We’ll partner with local businesses to collect donations and package hampers for community members.”

Partnerships and community initiatives

JCC has partnered with a funeral undertaker to provide dignified funeral services to needy families. Additionally, a solar energy business will offer job opportunities and services to the community.

“These initiatives will help reduce crime in Eldos by engaging the youth in workshops and training programs,” Robertson noted.

Future plans

The organisation plans to erect a triple-story building for the call centre and accommodate businesses.

“This project is not about me; it is for the community. That’s why I’ve formed a team to run it.”

With its comprehensive approach, Joyful Care Center’s call centre project promises to bring positive change to Eldorado Park and beyond.
