Local Gospel singer launches two albums at Carnival City

Gospel singer, Xolly Mncwango is about to host a double album launch on September 7 at the Carnival City Big Top Arena.

Since their release, Jesus is Enough in 2020 and Unusual this year, the South African gospel sensation Mncwango has never done a formal launch for either of them even through their major success.

Mncwango is a shining star in Contemporary Gospel music genre who has captured hearts with her debut solo album, Jesus Is Enough.

Despite the pandemic causing a delay in its launch, the anticipation has only heightened.

Mncwango spoke about her feelings when making the album in the time of COVID-19.

“I had a big challenge making this album but I pushed through and made it even though it was hard,” she said.

“This beautiful work of an album was a way for me to tell everyone that even through the storms and under the circumstances we were faced with, he is still Jesus and he is enough.”

Now, she returns with Unusual, a 21-track masterpiece that takes listeners on a profound and uplifting spiritual odyssey.

In an interview with Urban News, Mncwango touched a bit on how her preparations have been going towards the show.

“Preparations have been hectic I won’t lie, it has been a lot of work but having a wonderful team by my side has been the biggest blessing because without them, I wouldn’t have been able to do all of this alone. Also not forgetting the beautiful power of God,” added Mncwango.
