Eldos man arrested for attempted murder and perjury
“The alleged suspect ran to the police station to open a false case against the victim.”
A 62-year-old male was arrested by the Eldorado Park SAPS members for attempted murder and perjury at Maborite Informal Settlement, Freedom Park, on August 6.
Police reports suggest that the victim enquired with the alleged suspect to find out why he had built his shack on the road.
Instead of responding, the suspect walked into the shack citing that he was coming back.

“It was alleged that the suspect came back with a firearm and started shooting at the victim who sustained an injury on his leg.
“The alleged suspect ran to the police station to open a false case against the victim,” said the police in a statement.
The victim was taken to the hospital for medical attention after the community called an ambulance.
The suspect was arrested and detained at Eldorado Park SAPS cells for further investigation. His firearm was booked at Eldorado Park SAPS 13 store.
