Nomgenge Duo Foundation pleads for donations from the public

Nomgenge Duo Foundation has started a donation drive to prepare for their feeding scheme programme.

Nomgenge Duo Foundation (NDF) is in desperate need of donations to continue helping less fortunate families in Eldorado Park through their feeding scheme programme.

On July 27 the foundation and partners, Tanisha and Kevin Bredenkamp fed many residents as part of the programme at the ND Flagship Store located at 49A Cumming Road EXT 9, Eldorado Park.

The executive members of the NDF are the founding Director Siboniso Nomgenge, Assistant Director and Project Manager Nokwanda Mambim, Skills Development Manager Erica Gertze and Project Coordinator Moratehi Godgrey Mokoena.

Mongenge said they decided to host the feeding scheme every three months at the ND Store to address the needs of the community.

He said this was their way of playing their part, by using their platform to make a difference in their community.

“We hope to get more partners to join us on this initiative. We also want to challenge our local counterparts to start similar initiatives to give back and have a positive impact in the community,” said Mongenge.

Residents are invited to make a difference by making any kind of donations such as toys, non-perishable goods, juice beverages, new or pre-loved clothes, sanitary pads and toiletries.

NDF is based at Niersten Street, Eldorado Park, it is a creative hub where upcoming artists can express their stories and emotions through art.

It was established as a platform to create short films to interact with the youth but it is not limited to film.

It also seeks to empower youngsters from Eldos and surrounding areas through public awareness campaigns.
