He said the training is conducted over two weeks but additional time is added for struggling individuals who display commitment.

“I use my experience to assist the youth and unemployed individuals with job opportunities, specifically through the Regulatory Examination (RE) qualifications programme.

“After completing the RE qualifications, they become qualified advisors, either as financial advisors or licensed professionals. The company pays for these qualifications after 12 months of commitment,” he said.

Pitt emphasizes the importance of being casual and calm during interviews; he said the interviews are only meant to help them understand the type of person they will be working with.

He also emphasized the importance of being honest and present about their background as some people may have criminal records due to irrational decisions made in their youth.

However, Pitt pointed out that, a criminal record does not mean people will be excluded depending on the kind of crime because some were charged with petty crimes.

A social youth entrepreneur, Pitt began recruiting and training unemployed youth to become insurance brokers in 2017.

The came after the industry faced challenges in finding suitable candidates due to lack of experience.

In 2018 he won an award in the Youth Social Entrepreneurship Competition hosted by Word in Action Ministries with support from the National Youth Development Agency.

Interested young people can send their CVs to Pitt via WhatsApp on 084 316 7397.
