The Africanbank Soweto Marathon returns for its 29th edition

The theme of this year's Africanbank Soweto Marathon is ‘Run the People’s Race with the Bank that Backs You’.

On November 3, the 29th edition of ‘The People’s Race’ will open to runners worldwide, with the organisers predicting a record-breaking turnout.

This follows the official launch at Sakhumzi Restaurant, Vilakazi Street, Orlando West, on July 4.

The Africanbank Soweto Marathon is set to return to Nasrec, Soweto, where it will once again pay tribute to the area’s rich history and commemorate 30 years of democracy in the nation.
