Eldorado Park SAPS engage community about crime

The meeting focused on concerning issues of crime faced by the community members of Mountain View Informal Settlement and finding solutions to address crime in the area.

Members of the Eldorado Park SAPS together with the CPF, the councillor’s office and community leaders conducted a meeting to address crime concerns at Someluwazi Primary School, from 6 pm and 8 pm on the evening of June 4.

The meeting focused on concerning issues of crime faced by the community members of Mountain View Informal Settlement and finding solutions to address crime in the area.

According to Sergeant Fezeka Khobo, the Communication Officer for Eldorado Park SAPS, the meeting was a success, as there was a lot of information sharing regarding available services offered by the Police Station.

The community was taught on how to report crime anonymously and working together to combat crime with the police.
