Sowetans invited to town hall meeting on May 21

Radio 702 will be live at the venue with Clement Manyathela facilitating the discussions between residents and different political party representatives.

Talk Radio 702 is inviting residents of Diepkloof and Soweto at large to a town hall meeting scheduled for Tuesday May 21 at the Diepkloof Community Hall.

The reason for the meeting it is for Sowetans to be awarded a platform to engage with different political parties ahead of the May 29 elections.

Residents will also get an opportunity to voice out their grievances and make Members of Parliament aware of their expectations and needs as they head to the ballots.

Radio 702 will be live at the venue with Clement Manyathela facilitating the discussions between residents and different political party representatives.

The meeting starts at 09:00 and residents are advised to arrive one hour early before the event starts.

Listeners and organisations who would like to attend should send an email to contact@702.co.za to ensure access to the event.

A representative from 702 will be at the gate with a printed list of all those listeners that booked their seats via email and only admit those that appear on the list.
