Marino John Mvala known as MJ Mvala is an ambitious and determined gospel singer who has made a new gospel song with fellow gospel artist, Ishmael Morabe.
The song is said to be one of the big things the singer has done since embarking on his music career.
MJ Mvala was born and raised in Schweizer-Reneke in the North West province and is currently residing in West Rand.
The singer has had the opportunity to release a song titled Vela Nkosi with Ishmael on April 1 which is currently on Spotify, Deezer, iTunes, and Apple Music.

His musical roots started showing off when he was still young in church where he used to sing and lead the congregation.
After some time the singer started taking his musical career seriously and embarked on it in May 2023.
In the short space of time the singer has had in the industry, he has also gone on a tour with artists like Ishmael himself, Ronnie Ndlovu, Shibe Lephalala, and many other gospel artists.
The tour took place from March 30 to April from Brakpan and went to other parts of the country.
As it took time for Mvala to embark on his musical journey, he has focused on being a father and director at Help24 Holdings.
Help24Holdings is a group of companies that deal with roadside assistance, collision repair centres, security services, and health and wellness.
Mvala spoke about his inspiration when making music and expressed how big of a change it is for the industry for him to be the first artist to be signed to Ghetto Ruff.

“I draw inspiration from what happens in our daily lives, from both personal and experiences of other people. Being the first gospel artist signed to Ghetto Ruff is amazing, it shows that God can shift and change anything,” Mvala added.
Mvala who is also on the run for the Best Gospel Music Video award at the third Annual Tswina Music Awards for another song of his titled Usenguye featuring Jerry Madubela is very clear about his goals as a gospel artist.
He aims to be the world’s best gospel artist, whose music transcends mere entertainment, aiming to touch, heal, and mend broken souls.
Lastly, Mvala describes his brand as a testament to a life lived with purpose. “MJ Mvala is a brand, it’s a testament to a life lived with purpose, a journey of faith, and music that transcends boundaries.”
