Pageant coach and model Malebo Phasa has been chosen to join the Dallmayr Mrs SA 2024 Semi-Finalist ranks.

The Soweto born 28-year-old is hoping to walk away with the 2024 crown from the reigning 2023 Queen, Tshego Gaela.

Phasha officially set off on her Mrs South Africa journey during the pageant’s National Public Casting, held at the Clearwater Mall last month where she was chosen to officially join the Dallmayr Mrs South Africa programme for 2024.

“As Mrs. South Africa, my main objective is to embark on a journey of personal growth and learning.

“I am driven by the desire to continuously improve myself and make a positive impact on those around me,” She told Urban News.

The Dallmayr Mrs South Africa in its 12th year running has become the Leading Pageant for married women in South Africa.

“I am eager to represent not only Soweto but also the aspirations of women across the country. I believe my story carries a message of empowerment, resilience and the pursuit of dreams despite any challenges faced along the way.”

Phasa, who shares a passion for working with children, wants to use the platform to amplify her campaign, ABCNA (A Boy Child Needs Attention).

While simultaneously focusing on running her own modelling Academy, Precious Models where she empower other women with everything they need to know about pageantry.

“My focus is on gender equality, but through the Mrs SA pageant I’m placing a particular emphasis on the boy child. I’ve always believed that men experience many of the same challenges as women, but they lack a safe space to express their struggles.

“We need a society that nurtures our boys into becoming men who respect women and break the cycle of male abuse because men can also be victims. We need to change that.”

The semi-finals judging week and showcase will be held early in July, where the 2024 top 30 finalists who will advance to the finals will be announced.

She urged the public to vote using her name and surname: Malebo Phasha to 47587 to garner votes that will take her to the finals.
