Our recent book drive has assisted learners around Orlando East and we were able to reach more learners this year as compared to the previous years. This highlights the growing need to help learners start their academic year on a high note,” Thusi said.

Thusi who is also an English teacher at St David’s Marist Inanda Boys Secondary School in Sandton noted the importance of learners receiving assistance in their academics earlier in the year.

“It is really important to start as early as possible. If there is one thing that learners are likely to do wrong is waiting until the last minute to take their academics and education serious.
