Local young race says winning makes him happy

His curiosity over the characterised loud noises that motorbikes produce led him to start riding at the age of three, following in his father’s footsteps.

Bohlale Mafokate (9) has always loved the sound of a motorbike engine being revved up at his home.

It could be the roar of a wide open throttle, the robust throaty growl of a big V twin or the heavy and repeated sound of a vintage classic motorbike that led Bohlale to his early burning desire of the biking community.

This young rider from Chiawelo said whenever he races, he wants to win.

“I am happy to win and I want to race like the Binder brothers and race overseas. That way I will make my coach who is my father proud while putting Mzansi on the map,” said Bohlale.
