Non-profit organisation receive donations

Through its Care In Action programme, Michelin not only upholds theircore value but has recently donated to a non-profit organisation in Westbury which was nominated by its employees.

Elmarie Roberts, HR Director at Michelin chose to put forward Mashup Community Development, an NPO that embodies the very essence of positive change within a community.

Mashup Community Development will be receiving R60 000 from Michelin.

“I nominated Mashup Community Development because I wholeheartedly believe in the extraordinary impact of community-driven efforts. Mashup’s unwavering commitment to fostering change at the local level deeply resonates with me.

“Their core activities, such as providing skills development and offering entrepreneurship programmes are truly making a tangible difference in our community,” Roberts said.

Mashup Community Development will be receiving a R60 000 donation from Michelin.

In response to this donation, their director, Tracy Dennis said they are immensely grateful to Michelin for their generous support as this contribution will significantly enhance their programmes and allow them to reach even more individuals in need.
