The team travelled to Zimbabwe to represent South Africa at the AUSC Region Five Southern Africa Karate Championships

“All our white belts karatekas will be attempting their next grade on November 25 which will be a Yellow belt or Yellow stripe,” Molubi said.

He added that the orange belts karetakas will also be attempting a green belt or a green stripe.

“Once a karateka reaches a brown belt level they will only be eligible to grade after a year and no longer after six months. A brown belt level is a senior level in Karate as it prepares you for a black belt level.”

It was nice to see our karatekas from both sides working extremely hard in this session because they all want to pass to their next level. This has been a fantastic year for Kofukan South Africa and I am super proud of all our Karatekas.”
