Swimmers bring action at Soweto Swimming Tournament

On October 07, the Soweto Swimming Tournament (SST) generated much buzz as swimmers from all across the nation gathered at the White City Jabavu Swimming Pool.

Lumka Menye founded the thrilling event which was not just about the competition but also a celebration of the rising number of people who are embracing swimming as a treasured aquatic sport.

The SST gave swimmers a crucial stage on which to display their abilities, compete with their peers and promote camaraderie among the swimming community.

The event began at 8:30 am and throughout the day, both seasoned community athletes and emerging athletes put up exhilarating races and remarkable performances.

Spectators witnessed incredible feats of athleticism and sportsmanship as swimmers took to the pool to demonstrate their dedication and passion for swimming.

“This tournament is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our athletes.
