Body of an unidentified man found at Thokoza Park, in Rockville

An unidentified male body was discovered on Monday morning at Thokoza Park in Rockville opposite Rea Vaya station.

Nontuthuzelo Ngcobo, a resident said, “I saw when the corpse was removed from the water, it disturbed me a lot as a mother and I feel that we are not safe anymore.
“I believe if we reinstate our previous CPF teams, these things will end. I think this men was killed before being dragged into this dam.”
The SAPS was called to attend to the matter and to retrieve the male body from the water. An inquest docket has been opened at Moroka police station.
Family members of the deceased are asked to visit the station to identify the body or contact 08600 10111.
