Help Pimville player attend his soccer trials in Slovenia

The talented player is pleading for funds from South Africans and Sowetans to help him reach his dreams.

Pimville born and raised football player, Simon Mogase (21) known as Ace was selected to go to Slovenia in Europe to do soccer trials this month.

The talented player is pleading for funds from South Africans and Sowetans to help him reach his dreams.

Ace started playing soccer from a very young age motivated by his father and brother. According to him this is the second time he gets selected to represent his township, but because of lack of financial assistance he was unable to go to Germany last year.

“I had trials at Nike stadium a week ago where I was selected to go do my trials in Slovenia in October. I am therefore asking for financial donations to not only pursue my dream of being an international football player, but also, an opportunity to represent my country and my township,” says Ace.

Financial poverty has always prevented a talented black child from attaining their dreams. Sometimes dreams get delayed and young people lose the drive along way and begin to resort to substances. However, Ace still believes that he can still play abroad even when he was denied that opportunity last year.

“What keeps me motivated and going even after I missed Germany in 2022, it has to be my environment.

“I am surrounded by people who believe in me, my coach, my team, my community as well as my family. Their support keeps me hoping for the better,” Mogase explains.

According to Ace’s coach, Teboho Marumo, he is one of his special talented players that are destined for greatness. He is a disciplined player who knows where he wants to be.

“Ace is a coachable player who listens to instructions. I believe that it can only be us South Africans who are able to help Ace reach his potential and acknowledge his talent,” said coach Marumo.

Those who have the means to assist Ace with the funds to Slovenia can reach out to him on 061 415 8789.
