Major League to open for Burna Boy at FNB on September 23

Burna Boy has solidified his status as one of the greatest African stars after being awarded the Member of the Order of the Federal Republic plaque for his achievements in music.

The twin power duo, Major League DJz will be bringing their global futuristic African production to the FNB Stadium as supporting artists for Grammy award-winning superstar, Burna Boy on September 23.

Known for their immersive sonics in New Age Kwaito and Amapiano, the Major League DJz, Bandile and Banele Mbere are one of the biggest deejays on the continent having collaborated with international artists like Major Lazer, Ty Dolla $ign, Tiwa Savage and Channel Tres among many others.

As the countdown to the much-anticipated Burna Boy concert begins, the addition of the Le Plane Elandile and Bakwa Lah hitmakers as the first crew to open up for the Grammy award winning Burna Boy is exciting news.

Fresh from his whirlwind world Stadium Tour that saw him make history by becoming the first African artist to headline a stadium show in the UK, Burna Boy will kick off his After Tour in Johannesburg at the FNB Stadium.

Followers and supporters of the African megastar will once again be mesmerised by his many hits including Ye, Bank on It and Anybody from acclaimed albums African Giant, Twice as Tall and Love, Damini among others.
