House of Grace Worshipers, an emerging gospel group has announced their inaugural concert aimed at fighting GBV at Uncle Toms Hall on August 26.

The dedicated gospel group aimed at providing a platform for young musicians to nurture their talent while uplifting communities and spreading healing through music across the nation, will raise awareness on issues of GBVF.

The spokesperson for House of Grace Worshipers, Sakhumzi Tsimane expressed the significance of the concert and said, “GBV is a pandemic that cannot be ignored.

“It is only when it affects us personally that we truly understand its devastating impact.

“We acknowledge the efforts of non-governmental organisations, corporations and the government in combating GBV.”

He added that they believe that it is their duty to contribute and address this issue within our communities.

“Together we can overcome this pandemic. Our upcoming Praise & Worship Concert is one of the ways we are making our contribution.”

The event aims to unite worshipers and music enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds through music, prayer and inspirational messages while empowering attendees to take a stand against GBV.

“We urge everyone to answer this call. This initiative is not limited to victims, survivors or those directly affected by GBV.

As a nation, we are all impacted, and it is time for us to stand firm and declare,” said Tsimane.

“This concert is a testament to our commitment to making a difference and addressing this persistent issue among our people.”
