On Tuesday March 14 at approximately 07:15 members of the Eldorado Park SAPS received a complaint of murder at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.

Upon arrival at the healthcare facility, the deceased was pointed out to the members and the witness confirmed the identity of the thirty 33 year old victim from Beril Street, Old Eldorado Park.
“It is alleged that the 18 year old suspect thereafter handed himself over and alleged that he had assaulted his uncle with a brick on his head during an altercation,” explained Sergeant Roxanne Gibb, Eldos police spokesperson.
A case of murder was registered and the suspect was detained for the charge. He will appear before the respective court during the course of the week.
