BUCO store officially opens in Protea Glen

BUCO store is set to provide a wide range of products from well-known tool brands, to hardware electrical, plumbing products and a range of elegant and innovative décor for both indoors and outdoors.

November 04 was an exciting day for the BUCO team in Protea Glen as the store officially launched its very first Soweto branch.

“The store has been here for the last three months, but we have chosen this day to do the grand opening specifically because we wanted to get the store right.

“We wanted to change it up and make sure that we are providing not just quality services or products but a quality experience for our customers,” said the group’s executive for marketing, Lesego Moagi.

Moagi added that the store has dedicated plumbing counters, building materials and paints, where people can come and get advice and products they need.

Customers were invited to come and experience the grand opening of the store and try out the variety of products offered by BUCO.

“As the BUCO store, we believe in building the community because ultimately the community is our customers, friends and neighbours.

“So we really believe in supporting the community in whatever way we can,” said the store manager, Terrance Van Wyk.

The store has committed a donation of R3000 to the local councillor, Phelelani Sindani and he has stated that the money will be used to purchase paint for one of the schools in the area.

“I am happy to be here, thank you BUCO for coming here and investing in our area. I know that the store will help improve our economy as well as bringing employment in Protea Glen, so thank you very much,” said Sindani.
