Residents of a flood prone area in Dobsenville, Ellias Motsoledi Road say their plea to the Johannesburg Road Agency (JRA) to clean up the drainage systems and unclog the bridges ought to be given attention as they are experiencing flooding risks.

According to the residents, the flooding has been a problem since 2008 and they have begged for intervention but nothing has been done.

A frustrated resident, Palesa Tenza said she personally went to the JRA offices in 2023 to file a complaint about the flooding problem.
