Operational manager at Bertha Gxowa gets recognition

Moagi has been described as a compassionate and caring person by those who have had the pleasure of working with her.

Bertha Gxowa Hospital Care Centre operational manager Hazel Moagi was recently recognized for her hard work.

She is part of 50 nurses that received awards.

The campaign, Top 50 Nurse Heroes, was started by Afrinurse as a way of recognising nurses who are going the extra mile.

Moagi was nominated under the community builder category, sub-category community leader, by DENOSA Gauteng as their Marylin Lahana winner and she won.

Moagi has been described as a compassionate and caring person by those who have had the pleasure of working with her.

She is passionate about serving the community and creating awareness and educating the community about the services they offer as a centre.

She started working as a forensic nurse (managing GBV) from January 2010 to May 2015 in Limpopo.

She has also worked as a forensic nurse for Doctors Without Borders and joined Bertha Gxowa Centre in 2016.

“When you serve people, serve with heart because you will never know who is watching you.

“Every day together with the team, we give our best and serve the community the best way we know how,” said Moagi.
