Builders reopened with a new upgrade in Protea Glen
it is important that the store provides customers with the products and services they need and as Builders they have an inspirational range that looks at serving just what the customer’s needs.
April 2 was an exciting day for Builders team in Protea Glen because the store was re-opened after it was burnt during the unrest in July 2021.

The store has been rebuilt with bigger and additional space allocated to offer an improved assortment for customers.
New departments have been introduced for small and large appliances, flatpack furniture and flooring. All customers were invited to come and experience the renovated store and try out the variety of products on offer.
“This is an exciting day for us, exciting day for builders and our customers as well. Seeing our store being revamped looking better than the previous one is so amazing.
“Even though I am quite nervous about the response from the community, I’m looking forward for the grand opening and best service,” said the Store Manager, Themba Sithebe.
While the re-opening of the store is exciting for the business, it is also expected to provide much needed relief to locals who have been out of employment since July 2021.
“After the looting I thought everything was over especially when it comes to my job, so seeing the store being re-opened makes me very happy.
“It feels great to be back in a more upgraded store while aiming to provide quality services to our customers,” said the Receiving Clerk, Omphemetsa Toumane.
An array of instore benefits will be available to all customers, these includes financial services such as instore credit, money transfers, lottery facilities, prepaid utilities and cash loans.

“Rebuilding the Protea Glen store forms part of our commitment to revitalising Builders across as we continue our expansion efforts.
“It is our mission to be the go-to destination for DIY, paint and building material needs for all our customers,” said Builders Vice President, Karen Ferrini.
