Steven Lebere, Adopt-a-School Foundations’ Chief Executive Officer said, “We look back at our 20th anniversary year 2022 with gratitude to everyone who ensured that it was a successful year. Much was achieved to ensure that the learners, teachers and the schools themselves benefited.”

Beyond Back to School for Mandela Day, the Foundation also hosted its Back to School Party in November also in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

During the party, the foundation called on corporates to continue supporting them by booking tables at the gala event.

They were invited to dress in school uniform or sports kits and some guests on the evening donated their blazers to an identified school.
