Ward Councillor, Philmon Tambani who thanked the support of the community members, committed to arranging a temporary shelter where the granny’s family will stay for the next 30 days as elderly Mosidi was already taken to a shelter by the department of Social Development on Wednesday until the matter is concluded.

The long history of the disputed house allegedly started when Moshidi (Kedibone) claimed that the said property belonged to her and was given to her by her late father, one of granny’s late children.

However, the grandchildren at the house disputed this saying that was untrue and the house belongs to their granny.

They further said they suspected that Kedibone and Moalusi cooked up documents to defraud the family home citing that Moalusi had no proper documentation to prove that he bought the house.
