Miss Haiti crowned as Miss Heritage Global 2022

Miss Heritage Global 2022 was finally crowned after a very long process of screening on Heritage Day.

Miss Heritage Global 2022 was finally crowned after a very long process of screening on Heritage Day.

Miss Haiti, Abigail Pierre-Louis followed by Miss Zimbabwe Eva Mzondiwa and our own beloved who won the People’s Choice award Miss South Africa Zabele Hlabisa from KwaZujlu Natal became the second runner up.

What a way to celebrate Heritage Day graced by beauties from around the world competing for the title of who wears their country’s heritage better.

The 10th annual event was hosted by African actress, musician, socialite, and TV host, Khanyi Mbau, and Comedian, Show Host, TV Personality Mpho Popps at the Kalahari Waterfront.

35 contestants from different countries with different cultures took part in the contest.

 

The event was attended by about 2000 people including representatives from the Limpopo Government and Ambassadors of different countries, and sponsored by Limpopo Provincial Government and Department of Sports, arts and Culture, Thulamela Local municipality amongst others.

The crown designed by Wumba Kapo of Akapo Jewellers who recently opened a shop in DaVinci Hotel in Sandton said the crown is made out of pure sterling silver set with 217 blue and white pink cubic zirconia.

“The inspiration created by African hands is drawn from the abundance of natural resources and cultures that are found in South Africa,” Kapo added.

35 contestants from different countries with different cultures took part in the contest.

“Next year promises to be even a better event as we are learning and striving to make this a memorable event that people will always look forward to in the future.” Says Nhlanhla Shabangu the Chairman of the Pageant backed by the Founder Ronald Tisauke.
