The organisation is based in Protea Glen but does community work across Soweto and surrounding areas.

“We are charity workers with intent to assist our impoverished community members.

“The organisation helps those in need by offering meals, food parcels, sanitary towels, training workshops, empowerment and exposure to life-changing innovations,” says David Lekwapa on behalf of Home Of Future Foundation.

Keeke founded the organisation together with other women from her community who are passionate about community development. In the past few months, they have been hard at work helping those in need with meals and other donations.

They prepare meals and drive to the people in identified areas even as far as Lenasia where they serve them from the boot of the car.

Through donations from other residents and corporate sponsors, Home Of Future Foundation also host sanitary towel drives to help fight period poverty and make sure that young girls don’t miss school because of their periods.

Through the agency, she runs workshops where she invites experienced people in the industry to impart knowledge to young people who aspire to be on TV.

Keeke’s passion for helping the less fortunate is motivated by her past life experiences of having nothing and not even a place to stay.

“As a former street-kid I’m motivated to help the less fortunate especially the homeless because I know the pain of staying on the streets without eating anything.

“I know it means a lot to receive love from our brothers and sisters. I always say ‘The best charity is to feed a hungry belly,” says Keeke.

Home Of Future Foundation would like to thank Hollywood Bets, Boxer and many other local businesses and pastors who have been supporting them in their endeavours to uplift the community.
