SHFP foundation currently prepares two meals three days a week for residents in need of a meal.

“Mandela day is an occasion for us to take action and inspire change.

“It is about celebrating the idea that each individual has the power to transform the world, the ability to make an impact and a difference in our communities,” said Charmaine Mafoko, a day mother at Bright Angels ECD.

People received a bowl of soup and hygiene packs with a pair of morning slippers. Residents flocked to the gate of the foundation with eagerness to receive something to eat.

Furthermore, Mafoko spoke about wanting to see a change in the community and developing future leaders. They want the children from the community to succeed in all they do and put Eldorado Park on the map.
