The body parts were collected by the Pitse family last week Thursday at Diepkloof Forensic pathology Services.

They consist of the head, limbs, feet and arms. Though the torso is still not found the family is relieved that they will finally burry their loved one.

Tshepang’s father, walter Pitse told the media that as a family they are happy to be finally collecting their daughter’s remains as they had to wait for eight months for the DNA results to confirm that the body parts indeed belong to their daughter.

“We know that we are not collecting the whole body , however we are happy with what we have at the moment because there’s nowhere where we can get the remaining parts,” said Walter.

Walter’s wish is to sit down with the murder accused, try and figure out why he did what he did.

The deceased’s aunt, Daphney Joao said they are relieved to be collecting the body parts but are however not happy that it’s not the whole body.

“We do not think we will forgive Flavio very soon, we are people of prayer but now prayer has left us.

“I would like to urge everyone to be mindful of what their children do, never allow cousins or people of the same blood to fall in love or even go to an extent of marrying each other.

“We are in this situation because we allowed that to happen and today we are left with no daughter,” she further explained.

The family will miss Tshepang for her love of education, her lack of friends and her very respectful nature.

The remains of what is left will be laid to rest in North West on July 16.
