Love One Feed One gave back this Youth Day
The aim of the initiative was to bring change and impact to the people in the community.
Love One Feed One gave back to about 157 children of Eldorado Park on Youth Day.

The aim of the initiative was to bring change and impact to the people in the community.
The focus was more specific on how the organisation can change the environment so that people are not dependant of the organisation feeding them.
They plan on doing this by creating platforms of employment by looking at what the needs are, then acting on that.
“We work from five pillars, we focus on feeding, sports, education, mental health and music.
“That is just to bring an eye opener in terms of providing information or resources,” said Romario Lockie, founder and director of the organisation.
The days started out in Eldorado Park extension 2, where they had 107 children that they distributed all the goodies they had for the kids.

From that they proceeded to extension four Balfour, where they had about 16 children that received gifts.
They also made a stop in Cumming Road, where they had about 34 children who received their gifts.
The gifts consisted of a tracksuit, a Christmas box, a party pack and some received sanitary towels.
“Youth day means a lot to me, society has died out therefore we need to find avenues of being innovative, in terms of how we going to bring that life and that positivity back into the youth, we live in a generation that is not inclined to good environments, our youth need to be occupied,” said Lockie.
All gifts that the kids received and all the work that this organisation does is a collective effort, and all thanks goes out to everyone that is part of Love One Feed One.
