Upon interviewing the victim, who’s silver Volkswagen Polo vivo had been hijacked, it was discovered that he had been tracking his cellphone which was in his vehicle at the time of the incident.

The signal tracked on the cellphone led the SAPS members to a house in Marney Street, Extension 9 Eldorado Park.

According to Sergeant Roxanne Gibb, upon arrival at the said house, the owner identified himself and permission to search was granted.

The victim who accompanied the SAPS members was requested to dial his cellphone number, and the cellphone rang in the house.
