Prayer of intervention for Eldos community

The community united outside the Eldorado Park Police Station for a prayer intervention against all social ills affecting them.

On Sunday May 12 at 16:00pm the community of Eldorado Park stood in unity outside the Eldorado Park Police Station for a prayer intervention against all social ills affecting the community.

Various stakeholders attended, such as the brigadiers of Eldorado Park SAPS and Kliptown SAPS, pastors, business owners, Community Police Forum (CPF), resident, Cllr Dwain Ponsonby, Miss Eldorado Park 2022, Miss Junior Eldorado Park 2022 and first and second princesses.

The initiative was opened in prayer and commenced with a song, after that the brigadiers and leaders were given the platform to address the community.

The chairperson of the Greater Eldorado Park ministers’ prayer network, apostle Anthony Hulley gave the people words of encouragement.

“We can see that crime is running rapid in the community. We are experiencing problems like domestic violence, gender violence, crimes against women and children also what is a plague in our community is the drugs. As the police we cannot allow these things to happen,” said brigadier Lesly Lloyd, Station Commander of Kliptown Police Station.

It was a beautiful sight to see leaders and people in the community from Eldorado Park stand together in unity, praying for intervention in the community.”Genoeg is Genoeg, crime is history in Eldorado Park, crime is history in Kliptown, the miracle is coming,” said brig Maluleke, station commander of Eldorado Park Police Station.
