The daily operations are aimed at combating and increasing police visibility within the community under the leadership of the station commander Brigadier Ngubane and Vispol commander Colonel Lengau.

These operations are set to be continuous since it has contributed positively in the community.

“There has been a drastric decrease on our crime stats, namely our contact crimes which includes murders, assaults and malicious damage to one’s property,” said spokesperson Vusi Thokwan.

He continued to say this is the result of us confisticating dangerous weapons and illegal substances, counterfeit goods and we also shut down illegal sale of liquor on a daily basis.

They have arrested 43 suspects since February 1st up to date in these operations and confisticated 2 firearms, 117 knives, 1113 counterfeit goods, shut down 9 illegal sale of liquor operators, recovered 335 drugs which include crystal meth and nyaope.

Dobsonville station commander Brigadier Ngubane appreciates the members of the SAPS for the dedication and effort concerned in these operations and warns the community to refrain from illegal activities.
