Game officially reopens at Jabulani Mall

Game Jabulani Mall is one of the ten sores which were affected by last year’s looting spree and unrest which broke out in Gauteng and KZN.

The revamp means the layout of the store has been changed for the better to enhance customer experience while offering a wide variety of goods. One of these notable changes to the layout of the Jabulani Mall store is the interactive wellness area.

According to Andrew Stein, Vice President of Game, the Jabulani Mll store is one of the first to be revamped out of the 68 stores under the Retail Reimagined concept.

“The concept of Retail Reimagined is about transforming and improving the customer experience. These specific stores are important to their respective communities and continue to attract increased foot traffic, which is why they are the first of 68 stores that we plan to revamp this year,” said Stein.

Not only was the reopening of Game at Jabulani Mall welcomed by the community but it was also celebrated by the employees whose jobs were on the line during the lootings last year.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was followed by a walkabout at the store and prize giveaway to customers.  The evet was graced by the presence of celebrities and influencers such as veteran actress Rami Chuene.

Game Chris Hani Crossing Mall in Vosloorus was also officially reopened last week under the Retail Reimagined concept and more stores are set to follow in KZN.

“We continue to make positive strides in our strategy while remaining committed to our value proposition of offering a wide product range at unbeatable prices for our price-conscious consumers,” Stein said.
