Sergeant Roxanne Gibb explained that the disruptive operation targeted at reducing criminal activities and increasing Police visibility within the Greater Eldorado Park policing precinct.

Gibb added that the police visibility was increased at all sectors and hotspot areas. The anonymous tip offs at addresses whereby suspicious and illegal activities occur were searched and raided, including the tracing of wanted suspects.

“As a result of the operation, various suspects were arrested for offences ranging from possession of drugs, dealing in liquor, shoplifting and drunk and driving. Random stop and searches also proved effective, as dangerous weapons were also confiscated as well as unwanted and illegal goods,” said Gibb.
