Unknown suspects wanted for murder
A 56-year-old man lost his life after being shot several times.
Protea police are appealing to the community to assist with information about suspects involved in a case of murder which occurred in Protea Glen, Extension 31 on Friday, July 21.
It is reported that a 56 –year- old man was driving his white Chevrolet bakkie on Indus Street when he was followed by an unknown vehicle. The suspects drove behind the bakkie and fired several shots towards it.
The driver of the bakkie was shot and the vehicle lost control and hit a street light. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds in his upper body and he died on the scene.
No one has been arrested for the murder and an investigation is underway to trace the suspects. Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to call the police on 0800 10111 or call the Protea Police Station on 011 986 9272/9575.
