Kliptown Police arrest two for murder

It is alleged that the victim died due to a stab wound found on his upper body. The incident is said to have occurred along Msilinga street in Pimville Zone 4.

Kliptown police have arrested two men between the ages of 35 and 40 years old on charges of murder.

According to police, a member of the public called the station around 2:00 in the morning on Sunday. Upon their arrival, the body of a 30-year-old male was discovered in a pool of blood. Paramedics were called to the scene but could only declare the man deceased.

It is alleged that the victim died due to a stab wound found on his upper body. The incident is said to have occurred along Msilinga street in Pimville Zone 4.

Kliptown SAPS has applauded members of the public for providing crucial information that led to the arrest of two suspects.
“We want to applaud the members of the public for working effectively with police in providing information that led to the arrest of the two suspects,” said the stations’ Captain Hitler Ngwenya.

In a separate incident, The Kliptown SAPS also arrested a 50-year-old male for possession of a stolen motor vehicle in Pimville Zone 5. according to the police, officers were doing their routine patrol in the area when they came across a suspicious Toyota Etios. Upon searching, it was discovered that the engine of the vehicle had been tampered with. The suspect was arrested and an official investigation was launched. Ngywenya appealed to community members to keep an eye out for criminal activity and contact the police with information.
