#IMadeMyMark Voters not able to locate ActionSA on ballot papers

More than five voters especially senior citizens voting at Qhobosheane Primary School have reported that they weren't able to locate the party on ballot papers.

Although the law states that “Your Vote is your secret” voters who wished to vote for, ActionSA couldn’t keep it a secret as they were frustrated to have struggled to locate the party on ballot papers.

In Qhobosheane Primary School, a voting station in ward 28, more than five voters, mainly senior citizens, struggled to locate the party, some even opted to vote  for a different party.

The party has since issued a statement acknowledging that there has been reports and say they encourage their voters to report any wards with ballot papers that do not feature the party.

“We are determined to ensure that elections are safe, free and fair while ensuring that voters have a true opportunity to bring change to their communities,” says the party in the statement.

“Where problems exist on the ballot, we will work with IEC to make sure voter’s concerns are addressed.”
The party has also shared resources which residents can use to learn how to locate their logo via their social media platforms.
