Another couple killed in luxury car in Soweto
Moroka Police are investigating a case of murder following shootout on Chris Hani Road.
A 41-year-old man and his 21-year-old girlfriend were shot dead in Klipspruit this past weekend in a suspected hit.
The couple was in a red Ferrari when the incident happened and according to police reports, no arrests have been made and the motive of the shooting is still unknown.
It is alleged that armed men traveling in a Toyota Etios fired towards the couple’s Ferrari before fleeing the scene.
Both the driver of the Ferrari and his passenger died on the scene.
Pictures of the car riddled with bullets with the passengers motionless inside have been making rounds on social media.
A case of murder is under investigation at the Moroka Police Station.
This is a second shooting to happen in Soweto this month after a driver of a Ford Mustang was gunned down with his girlfriend in Diepkloof Zone 5.
