Body of a thirty-six-year-old male found in Eldorado Park

The deceased has been identified as a man who lived at the flats in Extension 1.

On Thursday, September 23 at approximately 6.30am members of Eldorado Park SAPS received a complaint of a dead body that had been discovered in Mirage Street, extension 1 of Eldorado Park.

According to communications officer Constable Roxanne Gibb, the SAPS members who attended to the complaint were pointed to the lifeless body that had been discovered in a yard.

“Upon inspection of the scene, the members discovered a male who had sustained gunshot wounds to the stomach and on his left wrist, he also sustained bruises on his left little finger,” explained Gibb.

She went on to adding that the SAPS members found two (02) spent bullets not far from the lifeless body of the deceased.

“All role players were present at the scene and the evidence discovered will be used for further investigation. The thirty-six (36) year old victim has been identified and resided at the flats in Extension 1, Eldorado Park. The motives leading to the alleged murder and suspects are currently unknown at this stage, however a case of murder has been opened and will receive thorough investigation by Eldorado Park SAPS,” said Gibb.
