Man(26) shot dead in Motswaledi informal settlement
The man was found facing down with a bullet wound on his body.
A 26-year-old man was shot and killed in Motswaledi informal settlement.
According to a statement issued by Diepkloof SAPS spokesperson Phephi Matlou, the police received a call at their client service centre on Saturday, June 12 morning informing them about a body of a male who was shot at Motswaledi .

“The police arrived at the scene and found a body of a male lying facing down with a bullet wound on his body. The deceased is a 26-year-old resident of Motswaledi and known to the community,” Matlou said.
“The police interviewed residents who were around the scene and they said the deceased was seen at a local tavern at night. We are appealing to the community to assist in finding the suspect/s who shot and killed the deceased, anyone with information can contact Detective Sonnyboy Magengenene 0798907087 or 0119337400,” Matlou added.
Mtlou further urged the community to comply with the curfew regulations and assist by working hand in hand with the police to reduce crime.
