Outstanding investigations delay the Nathaniel Julies case

Nathaniel Julies case to begin next month.

There has been another postponemnet in the case of Nathaniel Julies at the South Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg.

The case has been postponed to May 28 due to outstanding investigations.

Presiding over the proceedings was Judge Majeke Mabesele who expressed disappointment over the fact that investigations are still not complete.

“You must finish your investigation,” said Judge Mabesele to the investigating officer.

The judge went on to give the investigating officer instructions that investigations must be completed by the time the court sits again on May 28.

The mother was overwhelmed with sad emotions as she cried while the family spokesperson and chairperson of ActionSA John Moodey expressed their disappointment with today’s proceedings.

“The face of the matter is the family is extremely disappointed that this case has been postponed again,” Moodey said.

Judge Mabesele expressed his concern that the case was moved from the lower court without investigations being completed.
Meanwhile, Nathaniel’s biological father and grandfather expressed their disappointment and grief over what they called being “sidelined” by the mother and Action SA.
