From YouTube sensation to carving his own legacy, Nathan Blur continues his climb in the SA music scene.

“People can expect more music from me this year, possibly in the form of an EP,” he confirmed.

“I didn’t release a lot of music in 2020, so this year you can expect a lot more coming from me.”

Mostly well known for his ‘Labantwana Ama Uber’ YouTube cover, which received just under 100 000 views, Blur has been in the music industry since 2018. While he has not revealed the release date for his EP, Blur has given music lovers something to enjoy in the meantime with Breathe, a single he released in March.
According to Blur, the song discusses dilemmas men face when it comes to navigating romantic relationships.

“The song looks to address some of the issues guys bump into when starting a romantic relationship,” explained Blur.

He teamed up with producers, Silas beats and Thapelo Mashiane to produce the song and it is available on all digital streaming platforms.

On plans for the future, Blur said he wanted to explore the infusion of technology in music and revealed his desire to collaborate with more artists in the music scene.
“I would like to expand the Nathan Blur brand beyond just music,” he told Soweto Urban.

“I have aspirations of venturing into technology within the music space. I also want to work with more talented musicians. They don’t have to be household names, but just very talented and inspired artists.”
