SANCO Zone 10 calls on parents to join a march in support of university students

The march will commence from several venues in Soweto leading to a march to UJ Soweto Campus.

Since the protest over tuition fees in a South African university is spreading nationally, organisations are also joining in to support the students. South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO) Zone 10 (Diepkloof, Orlando, and Noordgesis) is calling all Soweto parents to join them as they march to the University of Johannesburg (UJ) Soweto Campus in support of students in all universities across the country.

Thabo Nkhasi who is the organiser of the march stated that their demands include free decolonised education without conditions, scrapping of historical debts, justice for Mthokozisi Ntumba. This march is also meant to address the issue of police brutality against students.
