Two men shot dead at Buy and Braai in Ndofaya

A case of the double murder is being investigated and according to an eye witness, it is alleged that the two victims arrived at the Buy and Braai in a White Toyota Quantum, and shortly after their arrival another car, a silver Mercedes-Benz with an unknown registration number arrived next to the quantum and four armed men, two whom were with AK47s and the other two with pistols started to shoot at the two men who were getting off the taxi.
The Communications Officer for Meadowlands SAPS, Octavia Thebe said, “One victim was shot several times and he was declared dead on the scene. The second victim was also shot several times, he later died after arriving in Baragwanath Hospital.”

Two more people were also shot by stray bullets and sustained injuries. They were also taken to Baragwanath Hospital.
Thebe said, “No arrests have been made so far and on the scene, 62 different spent cartridges varying from a 9mm and an AK 47 were discovered.”
