Moroka police have confirmed that a 62-year-old man has been shot and killed in Phiri.
According to the information shared by captain Mpande Khoza, Moroka SAPS spokesperson, it is alleged that the incident occurred at midnight.
“It is alleged that at midnight, Lerato who is the owner of the house, was sleeping when she heard three gunshots, followed by another two then after a while she heard the sound of the car moving.

“She never came out and continued sleeping and in the morning at 06:00 she discovered that lucky Ngoake Mashangoa 62-year-old of the same house was shot dead, she then called the police.”
